This course is designed for those new to shooting and that are looking to learn basic marksmanship skills and fundamentals. Students will be instructed on proper aiming techniques, stance, grip, and firearms safety this course consists of both classroom and a live fire exercise. . Students attending this course will spend most of their time on the range learning basic firearms techniques and engage targets at 3, 5,7,10, and 15 yards. Students are required to bring at least 300 rounds to complete the course.
This is not designed for beginning shooters and will consist of shooting from unsupported positions and shooting on the move.Students are required to bring at least 500 rounds to complete the course.
This is an entry level course designed specifically for those shooters who have not had any formal instruction or experience using rifles or carbines. This combination classroom/live-fire class will focus on building good fundamentals to safely operate the AR15/M4 and help prepare students for our more advanced tactical carbine classes. Students are required to bring at least 300 rounds to complete the course.
This is an advanced level course participants should have a working knowledge of firearm safety and manipulation.Students are required to bring at least 500 rounds to complete the course.
This course will consist of transitions between both pistol and rifle platforms and students should a working knowledge and be proficient with both platforms. Students are required to bring at least 500 rounds of each platform to complete the course.
concealed handgun tactics.
The concealed handgun tactics course is designed for those possessing a concealed weapons permit who want to focus on drawing from their holster system. This course will focus on placing the student in various shooting positions and situations. This course will also discuss how to dress around the firearm and the meaning of concealed carry. Students will be required to bring at least 500 rounds of ammunition and have a holster for their firearm. Students are required to bring at least 500 rounds to complete the course.
tactical first aid.
This course will focus on drawing from concealment, Situational Awareness, moving in and around family members, as well as shoot/no shoot situations. In addition, students will learn the proper use of a tourniquet pressure bandages, as well as discuss and evaluate IFAK’s in reference to concealed carry and home use.
home based scenario tactics.
This is a 2 day course consisting of both live fire and simunitions training. Registration for this course includes meals and lodging. The live fire exercise will exercise of both a day and night fire introducing the students to low-light/ no-light environments. The second part of the course will introduce the students to judgemental shooting skills while conducting simunitions training under stress. This will be achieved by placing the studnets in scenarios that home owners and those carrying firearms on a day to day may encounter. Students attending this course will need 500 rounds of pistol ammunition. Simunitions and safety gear will be provided by Shoot and Move, LLC.
